⏱️ Processing & Timing

We’re a small business with limited space, which means we usually don’t keep much inventory on hand. Most items are made to order after checkout, ensuring each piece is crafted fresh for you.

After your order has been crafted we strive to have it shipped out within 2–3 business days.
Larger or custom pieces may take longer, and we’ll communicate clearly if additional time is needed.

🚚 Shipping, Local Pickup, and Delivery

At Worthy Wood Works, we want to be transparent about how your handcrafted items make their way to you:

Shipping Fees: Being a small family-run business means we cannot compete with Amazon. Shipping isn’t free for small businesses — carriers like USPS and UPS set their own rates, and we don’t mark them up. We charge for shipping to cover the actual cost of getting your order safely to you. For small items, we work hard to keep rates as low as possible. For larger items, shipping often isn’t cost‑effective, which is why we offer local pickup and delivery instead. This means you only pay for what’s necessary, and we can keep our product prices fair.
Small Items (lightweight, compact products): These can be shipped through USPS or UPS. We work to keep shipping costs fair and efficient.
Large Items (oversized or heavier pieces): Due to their size and weight, these items cannot be shipped cost‑effectively at this time. Instead, we offer local delivery and pickup options so you can still enjoy them without high shipping fees.
Local Pickup/Delivery: We will contact you after checkout and schedule a time for you to pick up your item or have us deliver it to your door. As a family‑run business, we balance our woodworking passion with family-time and daytime career obligations. That means pickup and delivery are scheduled during evenings and weekends, when we can personally connect with you. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to working with your schedule.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, returns are limited. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out — we’ll work with you to make it right.
